On Monday we headed across the bridge to Öland again. Earlier this summer we visited the north point of the island so it was only natural that we'd venture south this time around. It's always windy at the south point of the island, and this time was no exception. Nevertheless, we braced the heavy winds and climbed up to the top of the Långe Jan lighthouse. Once we got back down on solid ground again it was time to head back north again. On the way we stopped for a little picnic and visited some flea markets as well as the church of Smedby where we climbed up the church tower. It's usually not open to the public so this was a special occasion.
To conclude, Öland treated us to yet another memorable summer day :)
