Project Life: January 2017.

At first I planned to make a separate post about my memory keeping plans for 2017 like I did for 2016. However, since I am not making any big changes compared to last year I decided to skip it. As was made apparent by my 2017 title page that I shared in January, I am sticking with the 12x12 size. I will also keep using mostly the same templates and the same font, and document monthly. What I will switch up is, of course, the products I use. Now that I'm not on the PL Creative Team anymore I imagine it'll be more of a mix between different designers than before. Just let me know if you have any questions about my memory keeping!

First up, a spread introducing the month. The calendar card is from the Project 52 Fresh Edition. I tried some different ones but thought this was the best fit in the end. It's not available in the Monday-Sunday format, but that was easy to change in Photoshop. The journalling card on the left is from the Everyday Edition and the Twenty Seventeen stamp is by Paislee Press. The rest of the products are from the Winter Day Collection by Sahin Designs. I recoloured both of the cards on the left side a bit to fit Winter Day.

A spread about one of the most magical winter days I've ever experienced. Products are a mix of Winter Day and the Say Yes To Kit by by Paislee Press.

About a day I spent with two of my sisters. Products are from the Project 52 Fresh Edition and the Everyday Edition.

Elsa's first time out in the snow! All products from the Say Yes To Kit (it was actually a kit that came out in the spring but I found that the colours work really well with winter photos too).

The first of three spreads documenting a long weekend in Stockholm. Products from the Winter Day Collection.

More about Stockholm and more Winter Day Collection. The journalling card is from the Everyday Edition though, and the sticker on the right by Sara Gleason.

The final spread about Stockholm. Products from the Say Yes To Kit, except for the Sunday label which is from Winter Day.

A spread about the month in our home. I am always better at documenting our home in the colder months, but I think it is very important. Journalling card from the Everyday Edition, everything else from Project 52 Fresh.

Finally, a spread about the end of the month when we celebrated my cousin's 15th birthday, among other things. Products from the Everyday Edition and Project 52 Fresh.

  2. I bought those digital page protectors after seeing your pages; however, when I put the page protector over the top of the layout, my finished page is much lighter than yours, especially when it's printed. Do you print yours? How do you keep the colours bright?

    1. Perhaps I should have mentioned it sometime, the secret trick is to place the photos on top of the page protectors. That's what I always do and I think it still looks realistic enough :) I hope it will work for you too.
