Around here: Goodbye, Babcia.

Life lately: March 2015.

Watching | A bunch of films - Love, Rosie was my favourite, it's so cute.

Listening to | This month I rediscovered The Wreckers and have been listening to them quite a bit.

Consuming | Things that aren't sweets. But tomorrow Lent ends and I start eating sweets again, yay! I mean, I usually don't eat that much anyway, but it'll be nice to be able to have some chocolate again :P

Reading | Almost done with The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan. It's different from what I usually read, but very relatable. And heartbreaking that her life ended when it had only just begun, of course.

Visiting | The parents and also Berlin last weekend. Of course I came home with a memory card filled with photos that I will be sharing here soon :)

Enjoying | Berlin above all. And finishing my first Project Life album.

Making | I haven't made as much progress with my second Project Life album as I would have liked, but it's been a busy month so I have had less time to spend on creative endeavours than usual.

Looking forward to | Warmer days. The days may be long and bright but after the one warm week we had it turned cold again so those bulky winter clothes aren't going anywhere just yet.

Project life: Glimpses from 1990-1994.

Around here: Welcome spring.

Life lately: February 2015.

Watching | February was a much better month than January as far as films go (in many other ways too). During Valentine's Day weekend we went to see The Theory of Everything at the cinema, then later in the month I watched Big Hero 6 and Boyhood. Each one of these films was better than the ten films I watched in January combined :P Other than that we finished watching The Affair and I can't believe I now have to wait until the autumn for new episodes.

Listening to | Like everyone else in the world right now I love Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding.

Consuming | An outrageous amount of semlas. Shrove Tuesday only comes once a year after all. But I've given up sweets for Lent like I always do, so I like to think that makes up for my semla intake.

Reading | Will you judge me if I say I have given up reading for browsing the #projectlife hashtag on Instagram before bed? If so, that never happened, and I totally finished ten books in February. Ahem.

Visiting | The parents, and also the castle I always take photos of... Until this month I'd actually never been on a proper guided tour of it, but I got Per and I annual passes as a Valentine's Day gift and we've gone on two guided tours so far. There's a new one every Sunday so I imagine we'll be going there quite often from now on.

Enjoying | Project Life, feeling more "at home" at my new job with each passing week, the longer days, the fact that it's starting to feel (almost) like spring...

Making | Well, I think it's pretty clear at this point that Project Life has taken over my life, or at least my spare time.

Looking forward to | A trip I just booked for the end of the month. More on that later :)

Project life: Glimpses from 1985-1989.

Around here: Valentine's Day.

Outings: Aboda Klint.

Around here: Starting fresh.

At the end of last year I made the difficult decision to quit my job of six years, a job I really did love, which sadly had turned detrimental to my well-being, and into something I just couldn't stand behind anymore. The time had come to move on and Friday was my last day. The whole week was pretty stressful what with having to wrap everything up to be handed over, and tying up countless loose ends. Needless to say it was a great relief when I left the building for the final time on Friday evening. Coming home to find the beautiful flowers above that my kind co-workers had sent me made the day even better.

Today was my first day at my new job, and I am feeling really good about this change so far :)

Life lately: January 2015.

(The last photos of this view that you will see.)

Watching | I watched seven new (to me) films in January, most notably Swedish film Micke & Veronica at the cinema, but none of them really stood out to me. I have enjoyed watching the first season of The Affair infinitely more and can't wait to see the rest of it.

Listening to | Different things, this is a recent favourite.

Consuming | Nothing special comes to mind, which is probably a good sign, because after all the extra food around the holidays I can do with a break.

Reading | Finished We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves at last and went on to read the Swedish novel Borta bäst. I enjoyed both at the time. I have a pile of books on my nightstand (as always) to read next, not sure what February's book will be yet but probably Amy Poehler's Yes Please.

Visiting | My parents & P's parents.

Enjoying | Starting Project Life above all. Also, noticing that the days are getting longer again, at last.

Making | Project Life pages for hours on end during the final week of the month, pages for my 2014 photobook before that.

Looking forward to | When my prints arrive for my first Project Life pages, going away on training in Stockholm in a couple of weeks, and (needless to say) spring!
