Project Life: Croatia 2015.

With our second trip to Croatia just behind us I thought I'd share my Project Life pages documenting my first trip to Croatia, in September + October 2015. I never got around to sharing them here back then (nor any photos from this trip for that matter), even though they were my favourite pages in my 2015 album. They were the last pages I made for the album and by then I had developed my style a bit more (2015 was my first year doing Digital Project Life). When I look at these it annoys me that I didn't think of adding drop shadows to the photos until after I finished this album ;)

I mostly used the Everyday Edition for these pages. It was brand new at the time and I found that the pink, gold and blue hues complemented my photos from Croatia really well. I also used a bit of the Moments Like These, Sunshine and Midnight editions as well as the Be Bright themed cards and the This & That value kit. This was my first time including (scanned) memorabilia in my pages.

Project Life: December

Tonight I finished my Project Life spreads from December. These past months I've documented each month at the start of the next because I think it's easier to organize my layouts that way. I have to say that I love being this up to date with my memory keeping. It was only a year ago that I wrote that I preferred to document the year once it was over, because I thought it made it easier to choose which photos to include once time had passed and I'd gained some perspective. Funny how these things change.

During the past months I've done something else that's entirely new to me, which came naturally once I started to document more recent events - I've started including more journalling. Nothing crazy, and never more than one or two journalling cards per spread, but I really like adding another dimension to my documenting. I wish I had started it sooner. I plan to go back and add a bit more journalling before I have the 2015 album printed. I'm so close to finishing it now, all I have left is to document our trip to Croatia. In any case, here are the spreads from December... I will be back with an entry about my 2016 title page + memory keeping plans for the year ahead later in the month.

Project Life: September.

I finished my September spreads not that long ago so I thought I'd share them, a bit late. There are only three spreads from the whole month, but that will change dramatically once I document our trip to Croatia.

Project Life: November.

Here are my PL spreads from November. Apparently I liked BW and stripes this month :) I still have quite a few spreads to complete from earlier this year, but despite that I've never been this caught up with my yearly scrapbooking before. I hope I will be able to have my photo book printed early in the new year.

Project Life: October.

I've decided that it makes the most sense that I start by sharing my most recent Project Life spreads here, so I thought I'd do that in this entry. October was a beautiful month with more sunshine than usual, which obviously translated to more photos than usual. I ended up devoting four entire spreads to my October photos, excluding the ones from Croatia which I have yet to scrapbook.

Project Life: 2015 title page.

I've made so much progress with my 2015 Project Life pages these past weeks (hence my absence online). At this rate I will be caught up before the end of the year, which would be great because then I can order a photo book already in January. I'm really looking forward to seeing the pages in print. Since the first pages I made included photos from this summer I've been working my way backwards (and forwards) and I finished the title page only yesterday so I thought I'd start by sharing that. I intend to share some more pages later on, when I've filled in the gaps so I can share them in chronologial order.
